Are there a million ways to make a person smile? It is not a question I ask myself on a regular basis, but it is instead something Lisa and I experience all the time as we meet new couples. We are forced to see love, not for it’s similarities but its differences that enable us to all have an individual experience of what love is, and a shared idea of what love is. We each smile and create smiles for ourselves, loved ones and even strangers in passing, but it is the choice of whether or not you wear that smile each day that really creates a ripple of change. Your smile to a stranger could alter their day from ordinary to extraordinary and you never know it, but in that same instance that returned smile could have done the same thing to you. You future altered because you chose to smile at someone you did not know. There can be so many pieces of life and love that tie us together. Peter and Rachael fell in love at a time when working out was their lives. Rachael today is an amazing dancer, while Peter may be an amazing Business Manager, he is still in the gym early in the morning at a time I do not believe exists. He supports Rachael with her crazy schedules, and makes her laugh and smile sometimes uncontrollably. We saw it over and over again from both Peter and Rachael. His goofiness is what makes Rachael happy. They are also the most comfortable in workout clothes. It makes sense, Rachael lives in them and Peter would not mind it if he could wear them to work. Thank you so much for sharing your evening with Lisa and I in West Shore Lake Tahoe. We could not be more excited to celebrate their wedding day this winter in Tahoe!
Lisa and I are really happy for these two love birds. They have both traveled back and for across the US chasing after each other and their dreams. They never let an entire country be too far of a distance to keep a beautiful relationship alive. They thrived on the time they had together and did what it took to make sure the time between the next time they saw each other was faster than the time before. Jenny is really special to us and even more so to Lisa. They met each other in sorority at Sac State. Stephen and Jenny met there as well, in the dorms of all places. Lisa and I went to visit Jenny on our little honeymoon after we were married in Disneyland. It was seriously the most fun seeing someone you know running Autopia. It is even more amazing when they are a bubbly and beautiful friend who wanted nothing more but to get to show us a little piece of her Disneyland. Jenny and Stephen are beyond happy with their lives, now living in Texas as a super sweet and adorable married couple! I know Jenny brings a smile to Stephen’s face every single day! We could not be happier for the love you two share.
Jennifer and Steve met in the dorms at Sac State. It did not take long for them to fall head over heels for each other and become quickly inseparable. They have traveled all over the US with each other, lived in three states together and had so much fun falling in love each and every day. They are actually getting married at Edgewood here in Lake Tahoe this fall and thought it would also be the perfect setting for their engagement session. It is a place very close to their hearts as they have moved away from California and are left with only sweet dreams and memories of the state they used to call home. If you didn’t know by now I do love South Lake Tahoe, I did choose to live there for almost three years so why wouldn’t Lisa and I be excited to take their photos there? It was the first time they had been back to California together in a while and were really happy to see family and a couple close friends, do a little wedding planning, and capture some memories together. Here is their late spring Tahoe Engagement session!
There are so many ways that Fabian and Celine love each other. They met one fun night out in San Francisco. After exchanging numbers and finding out they were from the same city, they both knew they were in for real trouble. A good kind of trouble! Fast forward to today and these two are head over heels for each other and their respective families. That is right, most weekends these two travel from Sacramento to Vallejo to be with their families together. It is such an important part of both of theirs lives. They have been there for each other through so many ups and downs. Fabian even helped his nieces and nephews create a fun sled run behind the house the rented for the weekend. Not only were these two in Tahoe for their engagement session but they were hanging out with the people that mean more them then anyone else their family! I do want to mention that Celine loves Fabian an extremely large amount. Fabian does not just love the 49rs, he eats, sleeps, and breaths them. So much so that one thing on his bucket list is to see them at the SuperBowl. Well Celine made sure that they saved the funds to send Fabian on his dream trip to see them! Kinda jealous!
We then headed over to a gorgeous meadow. I actually used to live down the street from here and had taken Lisa out to see the amazing views you see below. It was a lot of fun taking Fabian and Celine there as well to see this spot that was hidden in South Lake Tahoe.
We are both excited to see you two at the end of April for your beautiful downtown wedding!
