Jack and Becka are two fun, creative, quirky and downright interesting people! They met when Becka moved in to Jack’s house. Intending only to be a temporary roomie, they eventually fell for one another and well, she never left! His tactic for wooing her was being mean and teasing her – hey, if it can work for kids, right? These two are definitely kids at heart. They are silly and not afraid to show it. They also had a love of doing good in the world. Since they met, they have both cycled across the United States building houses for people in need, although their treks were separate. Just before Jack left on his trip, he asked Becka to marry him. They both lead very busy lives, but when they get some time off together, they love to go to their local coffee shop in Natomas and read the newspaper together. So to kick off their morning engagement session, we did just that!
We could not resist stopping in this bright yellow field for a few shots. It was a little dewy, so Jack gave Becka a boost. Such a gentleman! Our destination after some coffee was the Sacramento Zoo. Jack and Becka have this game they play. They say to each other, “Kiss me like a (insert animal here)”, and then they have to act out how that animal would kiss. It was hilarious walking around the zoo with them.Of course, we had to stop at Crocodile Jack’s Shack!Kiss me like a crocodile! Jack, I think you need bigger teeth! Our last stop of the morning before we said goodbye to the animals was a quick ride on the carrousel. Jack and Becka we had a BLAST hanging out with you at the zoo! We are so stoked about your wedding this June! We’ve been working with Jack and Becka on some very fun and unique custom save the dates and invitations and I cannot WAIT to share them! Stay tuned!
