Brit and Tim wanted to do something a little different from your average Hawaii wedding. They both have a fun, quirky, vintage style and wanted to bring that into their wedding. We decided to draw inspiration from vintage hawaii kitsch. So lots of hula girls, tiki men, and vintage artwork were just the ticket!
Save the Date // For their save the dates, they wanted to do a postcard of themselves hanging out on the beach, with a vintage flare, as an ode to their wedding location. So for their engagement session we packed a picnic and headed out to the beaches of Santa Cruz, to create the photo we used on their postcard save the dates.
Invitation Suite // The color palette for the wedding was lots of sea foam green, and muted shaded of bright pink, green, blue, and yellow. This fun invite suite was design to make sure guests one the wedding would be a ton of fun. Favorite touches include the custom map and surfer-guy RSVP.
Day of Stationery // The escort cards were adorable mini-flags that doubled as a fun keepsake for guests. The table we named after the islands of Hawaii and we design flags to match the escort cards. Finally there were lots of cute signs for all the yummy food and refreshments (shave ice–yessss) and hula girl/surfer guy Mr. & Mrs. signs.
