Save the Date // Luis showed me his love of old western-style typography and I came up with the idea of using a Loteria (Mexican bingo) card as the basis for the design. The back is an actual Loteria card (we made sure to omit El Diablo and to include El Corazon). Tied with twine to the save the date card is a custom bingo card featuring La Dama and El Catrin, the Lady and the Gentelman, together to represent Lizeth and Luis.
Invitation Suite // Lizeth told me her guest were so impressed by the save the date, they actually mistook them for the invitation! So we knew we had our work cut out for us with the real deal. Papel Picado was a major item in the decor of the venue, so we knew it would play a big role in the invites. Our western typography makes another appearance, this time adorned by LOTS of little colorful banners. There was an English and Spanish version too.
Day of Stationery // We designed a custom ceremony program fan in an array of rainbow colors. The couple liked their custom Loteria card from the Save the Date so much that they had it blown up huge to display on an easel at the wedding. We also create a custom designed guestbook with the artwork for their invitations.
