Fun fact: we photographed all these couples’ weddings! It is always so amazing to get to see our past clients at the weddings of their friends or families. The fact that they value us enough to introduce us to these important people in their lives means so much to us! Seeing all these faces together makes us so happy.

Excited to share Bobbi and Brent’s July wedding at Nestledown! It was a perfect summer day in Los Gatos.
Anmol and Priya were recently married in a joyful celebration filled with family, friends, food, fun, and LOTS of color. Priya was born here in California and Anmol was born in India. He had made a trip into Sacramento with some friends from college and was hanging out at a club. He tried to get Priya’s number but she said no. Anmol persisted and Priya gave in, and the rest is simply history. They were married last month and we covered four days of their wedding extravaganza. It starts with their Sangeet which included some hindu ceremonies and a lot of singing and dancing, followed by the Mehndi ceremony a few days later. Check out Priya’s henna….there is a golden gate bridge and the Disney castle. It is pretty cool as it is where she lives, and where Anmol proposed to her. Next was the Sikh wedding ceremony. Anmol’s family is Hindu, but in these modern times both families embrace each other’s cultures to celebrate the love of Anmol and Priya. The last day, their reception was the final party and goodbye as these two started their journey as a married couple. There were a lot of tears, a lot of color, maybe a horse, and a whole lot of fun. Thank you Anmol and Priya for allowing us to capture your beautiful wedding!
After the families met it was time for a short breakfast before the ceremony. This was perfect as everyone was getting ready by at least 6am for this beautiful ceremony that was about to take place!
The last ceremony of the day is where Anmol and his family picks up Priya to take her back to their house. It is the last ceremony of the day and is filled with more symbolism and emotion for me to describe to you in a few words. It still brings me to tears seeing these images and knowing that one chapter was ending and another starting, and this ceremony was to define the pages turning.
The last and final day was their reception! We met up a couple miles from their venue for a couple photos real quick. I am not going to lie that each day I was thrilled to see their different wedding attire! Also…Anmol and no beard again…he looked great and it was a fun surprise as he grew it out for the ceremony.
Even Lisa and I got dressed up for the reception too, and a guest really wanted a photo with us.
Nica and Lam are married! These two I honestly can not say enough about. Their wedding at Kirgin Cellars was filled with tears of joy, rain from the sky, laughter from friends and family, excitement from their almost three year old, endless merriment from their daughter’s best friend and bridesmaids daughter, and honestly so much more. These two help define the ideal of what family means to me. Lam is a husband devoted to not just provide love and support, but to intrinsically search for ways to surprise and delight his wife in an ever evolving relationship. Nica is a wife who not only nurtures a relationship of tenderness for both Lam and Zooey but she has created a household built on the foundation of devotion and intimacy for themselves. Their love is special, not that all love isn’t. There is a care that goes beyond the everyday and mundane that pushes each other. They work together at the same hospital, they raise a child together, and spend more time with each other than most couples. It is a relationship that at the very core I understand well what it is like to have a professional life and family life together. You spend so many of your waking moments supporting and understanding each other as you have similar jobs, and of course the same goals for the future of your family. These are just some of the elements that created the village of support Nica and Lam have. It is why emotion was not driven slowly to the forefront of their wedding but instead landed with an air of certainty that it was ok to share how each other felt. They both wore their feelings not just on their sleeves, but on their faces, and with their hearts in way allowed their friends and family to share in that same experience. I too, while holding a camera, had a couple tears roll down my cheek as I watched Lam choke up as he read his vows. Thank you so much for showing Lisa and I how you love those around you. It is love like this that not only inspires us to capture intimate stories but emboldens the need to constantly evolve in our own marriage. We grow watching our couples grow. Thank you. Thank you so much for sharing your wedding day with us at Kirgin Cellars in Gilroy.
