Michael and Jessica’s engagement session was our first meeting ever with them, but I think they were worth the wait! What a cute, sweet couple! They are from the Sacramento, but currently living in Maryland, and they will be getting married at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg this June. We can’t wait! There were so many cute photos from their session, we cannot wait to share them.

WOW! What an AMAZING year 2010 has been! We’ve grown so much and met so many wonderful and unique couples. This year we became “The Goodness” and spent a good part of the year traveling, from all over Sacramento to Ashland, OR, Lake Tahoe, Santa Cruz, Dillon Beach, San Francisco, Monterey, and even as far as Boston, Massachusetts and we even had the opportunity to photograph Greg and Melinda at the Eiffel Tower in Paris! We feel so lucky to get to do what we do. I had a great time going through all of our work from over the course of the year and am excited to share our favorites! Enjoy!
We are so excited for 2011, there are a lot of big plans for the business, plenty of awesome couples, and much more fun to come! Happy New Year from Geoff and I at The Goodness to you!
Diego and Christina’s engagement shoot was the perfect cozy and wintery session. We narrowly avoided the rain and got to use some of the Capital Park’s trees beautiful colors. This teaser below is so cute and I’m not sure what kind of tree was behind them, but I want one! I love the little red berries, perfect for this time of year.
Paul and Lesley are a couple of my favorite people and I am so excited they are engaged! We took their engagement photos last week at Apple Hill (one of my favorite places!) and even though it was pretty muddy, freezing cold, and on the brink of a rainstorm, everything could not have turned out better. I especially love this one below and cannot wait to share the rest.
Oh my goodness, we LOVE Katie and John! The have such fun personalities, and they kept us laughing the whole shoot. Because John and Katie met and used to live in Walnut Creek, the thought it would be the perfect place to take their engagement photos. And let me tell you, Downtown Walnut Creek is adorable! So many cute little shops and parks.
They are so darn cute.
Don’t you just love romantic shots like this one? Way to bring the sexy, John and Katie!
Um, Katie…are you kidding me!? Isn’t she beautiful?! Katie is going to make such a stunning bride!
Finally we headed up top one of Walnut Creek’s parking structures to capture this beautiful view of Mt. Diablo. Love it!
We had so much fun with John and Katie and are even more excited for their New Years Eve wedding at the Citizen hotel. They are partying through midnight and I can’t think of a better way to ring in the new year!
Oh, wonderful Kim and Dana! We just love these two. They have the best personalities and are in love in a big way. Their engagement session last week was way too much fun. There are seriously, a TON of adorable images to share. So. Excited. 🙂
We had a couple of amazing engagement sessions last weekend. First was the fun, silly and lovey Nichole and Josh. We went to the beautiful High Hand Nursery in Loomis, which is definitely one of my new favorite places. This photo is simply magical.
The next day we met up with Nick and Jamie and their doggie Tank, who make a pretty adorable trio. We headed out to the delta some cute photos. The light was loving us that day! I adore this one below. More to come soon from both these lovely couples!
Bhen and Theresa are from Stockton so we met up with them at Oak Grove Park for their engagement session. They have a three year old son Inigo so it was only fitting that he be a part of the photos as well! These three were a treat to photograph. They are all so sweet.
Here they were trying to get Inigo to show us his dancing moves!
Dreamy romantic sparkly light!
We even had a little fun at the park.
What an adorable family! We had so much fun with them and are super excited about their wedding coming up in only a week and a half!
Mike and Melissa are one downright amazing couple of people. I cannot even begin to say how happy we are that they chose us to be their wedding photographers. They are completely adorable together and so much fun to hang out with. We’ve bonded over the love of LOST, becoming homeowners together, and a passion for frozen yogurt. Mmmmmm…yog… What is even more awesome is the fact that Mike is a member of The Hits, aka the coolest 80’s-and-more cover band you’ll ever hear! I just wish I’d known about them for our wedding. Yes, I think Geoff and I have definitely fallen for Mike and Melissa. Needless to say, we were suuuuuper excited about their engagement session. We kicked things off at their fantastic new home they purchased last year.
Our next stop was Rick’s Dessert Diner, one of Mike and Melissa’s favorite sweet spots. Yeeeeeah, if you’ve never been there, go NOW and try one of everything ’cause it’s all amazing. Then when you’re done bring me some too.
