I am a native of Sacramento, California and since I was a youngin’ I’ve loved to be creative. I was always crafting, sewing, drawing, building, and making anything I could. I fell in love with photography at a young age in my dad’s homemade darkroom. As the paper floated around in the chemicals, I was mesmerized as each new image appeared. I studied and practiced photography throughout high school and in college at CSU, Sacramento, where I earned a BA in Photography and a BS in Graphic Design. I’m a sucker for typography, patterns, bright colors and I am super passionate about great design. I definitely have a geekiness to me that balances out the artsy side. I love technology, especially my Mac. I met my husband as I was finishing college, and we have been inseparable ever since! Even the 100 miles between Sacramento and Tahoe couldn’t keep us apart!

I am a true kid at heart. I love to be silly, play games, watch Disney movies, and sing in my car. I love to go on adventures and spend time with my amazing husband. He truly completes me and none of this would be possible without him!

 I’ve grown up in the Sacramento area a large part of my life. I was born to wonderful parents who both moved here from England. I have been lucky enough to live in San Francisco, Napa, and even England growing up. When I was young, my mom always had a camera around. There was not one moment that we were not taking photos. I started shooting high school sports and yearbook the moment I could. In college, I focused my passion on television production. After college, I quickly moved to Tahoe to shoot and film Snowboarding. In Tahoe, using my first digital SLR camera was the thing I loved more then anything and still do. I moved back to Sacramento to marry the girl of my dreams and start our life together.

I love to laugh and smile. I get teased because my laugh is all too distinguishable. I can always be found in the kitchen. From fresh crepes, to fanciful fun dishes on the grill, to fresh made organic pizza and sauce — I love to cook. Between my love for adventure and snowboarding, my heart goes to my wonderful wife, who I am lucky to work with every day.

We are Lisa and Geoff Bardot, a couple of camera slinging love junkies, who met over our obsession with Apple products, being tech-geeks, art, yummy food and of course PHOTOGRAPHY! We fell in love, gleefully married in 2009, and are setting up home in Elk Grove, California. When we are not behind our cameras or our computers we love being goofy together, traveling, taking adventures, bicycling, going out for sushi, eating good food, and entertaining friends in our home that we are having a blast furnishing and decorating.

We are amazed at every new client we meet and are blessed to see their unique love and unique life come together as they form their very own family. We can not believe that everyday we get to work together as a team, in our life, our work, and in capturing your love. Our desire is to be able to capture you being yourself — your smiles, your laughs, your tears and your excitement. We know that every couple is different and we strive to find ways to see and show you as the individuals and couple you are.
